Hi! My name is Charlie Gavin. I'm the senior editor down at Blankpixels.com and yes, I am to one who decided the name for the site. Although this is probably easier for me to say (since I'm the one with the domain) but I think this is funny - well, a certain kind of funny. First off, let me assure you that I had never heard of any of your accounts when I registered the Blank Pixel domain. The name was originally used for a gaming forum that predated the site. The name came from a brainstorming session my friend and I had. One of us (I think it was probably me) thought of the name and we decided to stick with it. The forum has since changed into a full site.

Again, I'm sorry for the confusion. I hope you don't think less of us for it. I assure you, none of this was intentional.

First off, Charlie, thanks for your response. I didn't really expect that you'll find the time to visit my blog and tell me the story behind your domain.

Don't worry, I don't think less of you, guys. I was just pretty upset that I can't register my alias blankPixels for my own domain because you guys are already known as the BlankPixels on the web.




I guess blankPixels wasn't that unique (LoLz) as I thought. But, I'm pretty happy with my own domain now. Although I still use blankPixels for everything else because I got used to it for using it for so long. I may not be as popular as your group but there are people who know me as blankPixels.

I didn't accuse anyone of stealing my alias. I just want to know how you guys came up with blankPixels. And thank you for telling me how. I feel much better now. Hehehe.

At least BlankPixels.com is a pretty interesting website. If that wasn't that case, I'd be more upset. LoLz!

Thanks again, Charlie. I wanna say I'll be an avid reader of your site but I'm not into gaming with gadgets. I only play online games and find-and-seek games. Hehehe.
