We just opened our internet cafe and so far, our additional services are kicking off at a good start.Well, just today, we had a customer who had several documents scanned and converted to PDF so she can send it through email to someone. Unfortunately, though, this was my first time to convert something to PDF. I don't have Adobe Acrobat (we can't afford that) so I only used Adobe Photoshop 7 (yeah, the ancient version) to import the scanned images.
I was able to save them but as separate PDF files. Good thing it was just a 2-page document so it didn't really bother her or me that she had to upload or attach 2 separate PDF files to her email. But, still, I wanted to find a software that would combine PDF files into 1 so scanned documents would look professional. We can't afford Adobe Acrobat so I went searching for a PDF merger application.

ReplyDeleteDo you have Microsoft Office? If you do, you can install CutePDF and you can save it to a PDF file.

We're actually using OpenOffice in our cafe since we can't afford a licensed MS Office. So, it's not really an option.
