Since yesterday (January 24, 2010), Adgitize ads on my blogs were not loading properly and I found out that the Adgitize servers are down.
I read this forum post on Adgitize.net. Apparently, someone from Adgitize posted an update:
Just a notice to those who do not know already, the Adgitize server is currently down. We are looking into the problem now and hoping to have it back online soon. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
I checked back today and there were still no updates as to when Adgitize will be back up.
This has affected not only my earnings from Adgitize but ads on Project Wonderful, too, since most of the advertisers seem to be coming from Adgitize.
Anyway, I hope they can fix this problem as soon as possible and that all advertisers would get an extension of a day or 2 on their ads since their servers were down for over 24 hours now.

Adgitize is up today. All ads are showing on my blogs. I was able to login to their site but I'm not getting credited for any ad clicks/visits. Still waiting for an update from the admin regarding the points and extensions for advertisers. Keep posted!
Update as of 01/28/2010 6:00am (PH):
I clicked and viewed Adgitize ads/websites and I already got credits for them. There was a delay in the reports page so I had to click some more (instead of the regular 51 ads) before I got 100 points. That means there's still some bugs in their system. Hopefully, it'll all get fixed soon. I'm still waiting for my compensation for the 3-4 days that my ad wasn't running.

The Adgitize server was down again yesterday. As of this writing, they're back up. Lost another day of advertising and points. I am waiting for the compensation. At least 4 days of extension should be given to all advertisers who have running ads on their system.
My Adgitize ad was about to expire today and I haven't received any compensation yet for the days that the site was down. So, I sent an email through their Contact Us form on Adgitize page. After a few minutes, I got a response that my advertisement was extended for 5 days. It was a very quick response from Ken Brown. When I checked my ad, it was indeed extended 'til February 7th. So, if you haven't received any extension or compensation yet, I suggest you send them a message.

It seems to be down again today. Does anyone know why?
ReplyDeleteThey were updating and fixing the earlier problems. It's back up but we lost another day of points and ads. Argh.
