Boost Earnings & Traffic through Adgitize

I have mentioned a few posts ago that I'm close to reaching the minimum of $100 Google Adsense earnings. I'm so close that I can smell the moolah! Hehehe. I am expecting to reach $100 before this week ends. That's how close I am.

If you've visited this blog in the past couple of days, you'd know that I recently changed my blog's design. And, today, I had to re-design because I feel that my blog looks better when the sidebar's on the right. There was a significant increase on my Adsense earnings when I moved it on the left side because that's one of the hot spots, meaning visitors tend to click on your Adsense ads or other third party ads when they're placed on the left side. But, I can see that my earnings from clicks on the Adsense units at the bottom of my posts get more click-through than the sidebar units so I decided to take them down and move my sidebar back to the right side. I'm hoping that this won't negatively affect my daily Adsense earnings.

I haven't really focused on increasing traffic to my blog lately because of the holidays and I've been busy with my other blogs. I am trying to keep up with all of them, thanks to Windows Live Writer. I have a to-do list and I'm trying my best to stick with the ones I have listed. First on the list is working on boosting traffic to this blog.

On my blog about how I make money online, I wrote a post about how to make money online through Adgitize. If you haven't read that post yet, especially when you haven't ADGITIZED your blog or site yet, you've got to read my guide.

I have decided to advertise with Adgitize since they're offering a very low advertising price of $14 for a 31-day ad. I am willing to pay that much because I know it will definitely pay off. I will post an update here after the 31-day period so I can show you how much I've earned and if I got my investment back.

As a Publisher only, I am actually making decent earnings through Adgitize but I feel that if I advertise with them, it will not only boost my Adgitize earnings but it will also help increase my Google Adsense earnings in a "Google legal" way. What do I mean by that? Read on.

Adgitize your web site.

On my blog about how I make money online, I also feature Paid to Click sites where people get paid for clicking ads and viewing advertiser websites. The advertising prices are very low and it might seem attractive at first glance, but, the truth is it doesn't really pay off mainly because the PTC sites members who will click on your ads and visit your site don't have any intention of staying longer on your site. They'd just wait for the timer (usually 25 seconds or less) and hurriedly close the window without even looking at your contents.

I know this can also happen with Adgitize because I am guilty of this, but, only when I'm tired or sleepy. The good thing with advertising with Adgitize, though, is that the visitors who will view your site or blog are mostly bloggers like you, too, who are interested in reading other blogs. So, there's a very high chance that when you advertise, you'd get people who'd love to stay and read through your blog. For instance, whenever I click on Adgitize ads, I have around 20+ browser windows open. I usually read blogs while the other sites are loading. I know, I don't post comments most of the time because usually, there were people who already said what I wanted to post. Hehehe.

Now, what I meant by Google-legal way of advertising is Google doesn't allow publishers to post ads to boost their site's traffic and Google Adsense earnings through Paid to Click sites. Why? Because PTC sites pay their members by clicking ads. It's against Google's policies. So, although advertising at PTC sites can really help boost traffic to your site, you'd risk getting your Adsense account suspended permanently. I don't recommend it. If you really want to use PTC sites for advertising, use other 3rd party networks instead that allow this.

Oh, by the way, I wrote a guide on how you can withdraw your Google Adsense earnings if you're here in the Philippines... or if you have Western Union available in your country. Most bloggers I see on the Adgitize network use Bidvertiser. I'm guessing because they prefer to get paid through Paypal. I also have Bidvertiser ads but they're on my other blogs that are not allowed to use Google Adsense. I'm also close to reaching my first payment with them.

I'm hoping that this year, I'd be able to boost all of my earnings on all my online money-making programs. Wish me luck!

  4. Yep, that's what I'm actually planning to do. I'd be using Bidvertiser on the sidebar then keep Adsense at the bottom of each post.

Still observing my traffic now with Adgitize. :)

  5. Very insightful information. Very interesting post to read and more importantly to act upon. I haven't tried Adgitizer so far i will definitely try it. I have been using adsense and it has been making quite some money (more than what i expected). Thanks for sharing this post with all of us, will look forward to your future posts.

  6. Great post.
I got more traffic because of Adgitize. My adsense account was suspended. I didn't warn my friends/readers about double clicks.

  7. @Nikita:
I'm also very happy with my Adsense earnings that's why I was very careful (to the point of being too paranoid hehehe) with it.

    @Grace:
I haven't really seen that much difference with the # of visitors I'm getting here. I usually get 1,000 to 1,300 visitors here and so far, in the 3 days I have my Adgitize ad active, the # hasn't really changed. But, I have been getting significantly a good # of comments from people who visit my blog. And that's what I'm happy about :)

About the double clicks, I'm too paranoid with my Adsense account that I don't let anyone of my friends click it. LOL.

  8. So how? Quit Adgitize and focus on Adsense?? can you have both of them in your site???

  9. Yes, you can have both of them, Xaivier. If you check the ads here, I have both Adsense and Adgitize. Adgitize is not contextual advertising and doesn't look like Adsense so it's okay to use them both on your blog/site.
