Showtime is Suspended - Osang's Fault

I've been a big fan of ABS-CBN's newest talent show - Showtime. I love it because it's live, they seem to be having a lot of fun, the hosts Vhong Navarro and Anne Curtis are my faves, and, most importantly, because Vice Ganda is one of the judges. I love her (he's gay, by the way) to death!

I am a fan of Vice Ganda on Facebook and she posted something today that really irritated me. She mentioned that Showtime might be suspended for 20 days and they're still waiting for the final word. This was a result of one of the guest judges comments on teachers. Who was the moron? Rosanna "Osang" Roces.

I wasn't able to watch that Showtime episode where Osang, one of the guest judges, allegedly insulted teachers in the Philippines because I went out with family. I only watched the following day when Osang was no longer around.

I know us Filipinos are very sensitive when it comes to people voicing out opinions against groups of people who we look up to as the "heroes" (bayani) of our country, like teachers and OFWs. So, I didn't want to say anything 'til I watched the videos. Here are the vids straight from Youtube.

Here are my thoughts about this. This really pissed me off BIG TIME because Osang doesn't have the RIGHT to talk about EDUCATION. She obviously didn't learn RESPECT in school. Yes, you're allowed to be opinionated but to lash out on people just because you can and you want to doesn't give you the right to mock anyone or to feel as if you have the right to teach anyone a lesson.

To OSANG:

First of all, knowing who Jose Rizal's parents are and why he was named Jose Protacio Rizal doesn't make YOU better than anyone. It doesn't fucking make you a better Filipino, dammit!

Second, you don't even know what you are talking about. You can't even talk straight. Sheesh.

Third, suggesting that they should curse or disrespect their teachers because they didn't educate them enough about Jose Rizal is plain STUPID. It's not an OPINION. It was just Osang being an IDIOT. Wake up, Osang. You didn't become popular because of your good acting skills. It wasn't your brains that made you a "star" but your sexuality. So, stop trying to make up for it because you don't have the INTELLECT to even attempt to share a VALID opinion.

Fourth, you being proud that you cursed at your teacher for not knowing enough about Rizal was, again, stupid. I doubt that even happened. You're just too weak to even come up with an idea such as that. It shows, really. Stop trying to be smart 'coz you're obviously not.

I love Vice Ganda for what she said to try to put out the fire that Osang started. I agree with Vice that NOT all teachers are morons or incompetent. I'm one of the lucky ones to have had amazing teachers and professors in elementary, high school and college. They're not all perfect, though.

Osang has no fucking RIGHT to talk about teachers in general like they're all a bunch of losers who don't know squat about what they're teaching. I doubt that all her teachers were stupid or were as incompetent as she's expressed. I pity her for not even realizing that. She's just trying so fucking hard to be opinionated or mean. Being jerk on TV doesn't make you look good. You looked stupid the whole time. Don't try to be like Vice Ganda 'coz she's way too smart for your league.

I've read some of the comments on Youtube and other forums. I'm shocked that there were some who didn't even see anything offensive about what Osang said in the show. What the fuck?! Did they really listen to what Osang said?! I mean, again, I agree that there are teachers who are incompetent but that doesn't give anyone the right to talk crap about teachers in general and to even RECOMMEND for people watching that they should DISRESPECT their teachers if they're incompetent. There are other ways to deal with incompetent teachers and cursing at them is NOT one of them.

Osang - STOP VOICING YOUR OPINIONS because you're just humiliating yourself. You're just showing how narrow-minded and stupid you can get.

I hate her. Now, because of her comments, Showtime might be suspended for 20 days. Argh! It was a live show so they can't really censor what is being said by everyone. I just wish that this won't affect the format of Showtime - I still want it to be a live show. They just have to pick SANE guest judges next time. Please lang!
