Survivor : Heroes vs Villains Starts Next Week! Yayy!

I can't wait for Season 20 of Survivor, one of my ultimate fave "reality" TV shows. This 20th season is entitled Survivor: Heroes vs Villains.I watched Surviving Survivor the past week and it was a 1-hour special that featured past iconic Survivor castaways. They were asked to talk about their experience playing the game of Survivor. Loved Richard Hatch's answers. But, I'm seriously glad he wasn't included in this new season 'coz he'll be the first to go, in my opinion. And I was so touched to watch and hear about Ethan and Jenna's relationship - how Ethan is battling cancer and Jenna's on her side supporting and cheering him up. I hope and pray Ethan wins over cancer. I didn't enjoy him winning Survivor, but at least he has proven that he's a Survivor in real life.

The casts of Survivor: Heroes vs Villains were already announced and the show will premiere on February 11th, Thursday next week. And, I can't wait! Why? Because 4 of my favorite Survivor castaways in previous seasons are BACK!!

 

	Russell Hantz (Survivor : Samoa) I'm soooo happy Russell was picked to join Heroes vs Villains. Of course, he's in the Villains tribe. I love him! I was pretty disappointed that he didn't get enough jury votes to win in Season 19. I hope this time, he'll have a bigger shot at winning the title of Sole Survivor. I hope he won't make the same mistake of telling people he's actually rich, which resulted to him losing in the jury votes. Not sure about this, but it's a good thing that no one really knows him and his gameplay because if they did, he might be the first one to go. I really hope he'd win. He's my #1 Favorite Survivor castaway of all time.
	Rob Mariano (Survivor : Marquesas & All-Stars) Rob used to be my #1 Survivor castaway, but Russell was a more strategic player than he was. And Rob only shined when he joined All-Stars. He was not really memorable in Marquesas. Anyway, I'm glad he's part of the cast this season. He and his wife Amber, also a previous Survivor castaway (who won the title over Rob, which pissed me off), just had a baby, but that didn't stop him from joining this season. I'm glad Amber isn't with him because that will totally ruin it for him. He won't be able to think straight. I want to see Rob and Russell in the Final 2. That would be the MOST interesting Survivor Finale ever!
	Parvati Shallow (Survivor : Cook Islands & Fans vs Favorites) Parvati wasn't actually one of my faves originally. But, when I saw her on Fans vs Favorites, she made it to my ultimate fave Survivor list. The way she used her beauty to manipulate her way to the finale and end up as the winner was priceless! All those blindsides and trickery paid off. And I'm glad the jury voted for her. Well, they're all fans of the show so they all respected Parvati's strategy to win the game. Hope she does well this season.
	Tom Westman (Survivor : Palau) Tom is the only Survivor castaway who won the game without lying and cheating. He played nice throughout the game, which won the respect of everyone. He's one of my favorite Survivor castaways because he used pure strategy to work his way up to the finale and win the title of Sole Survivor and the million dollars. I can't wait to see him this season. He's the only castaway I like in the Heroes tribe.

Just a couple of things I want to comment on regarding the cast:

• Why the hell is Sandra in the Villains tribe?! She didn't do anything nasty in the game to even consider her for the Villains tribe.  I don't like her, though. Worst Survivor winner ever. Oh.. maybe that's why! LOL
  
• On the other hand, why is Candice in the Heroes tribe? She was the one who betrayed her tribe and ended up being despised by Yul and Ozzy back in Survivor Cook Islands.
  
• Who is Danielle and why is she even on the show? I watched Survivor Panama, but I can't remember a thing about her. Sheesh. Is she casted as another Bikini babe? She's not that pretty.
  
• Colby AGAIN?! Ugh. I'm tired of watching him. He's too overrated. I liked him in Survivor Australian Outback just because there was no one else to like. Sheesh. Enough of him, puhlease.
  
• Although I'm proud of how being in Survivor changed Cirie, I don't want to watch her again. She did well in Fans vs Favorites just because Parvati was there.
  
• I'm glad they gave Sugar another chance to play the game. I hope she'll do better and not to be so trusting. I hated her for betraying Ace, who was actually on her side. But, I guess some people can be naive.
  
• What's up with Stephenie's new look? She's too... I dunno, muscular or too much plastic surgery? I loved her beauty before... just look at this old photo of her and compare that to her photo above. She looks like a local celebrity here in the PH - Nikki Gil.
  
• Jerri Manthey again?! Ack. Too cliche. And the last time she was in Survivor (All-Stars), she wasn't her old bitchy self. She was plain annoying. Remember when she walked out during the reunion show and cried? Ugh. You're bitchy and that's your personality. Don't apologize if you're not hurting anyone. Sheesh.
  
• James is back and I hope he'll do better this time. He really needs to redeem himself... BIG TIME!
  
• Coach and Tyson, together again?! Argh. Can't stand watching them.
  
  

I can't wait 'til next week when Survivor Heroes vs Villains premieres. I hope that these Survivor castaways would set aside their emotions to truly play the game. I hate to see someone winning in the end who don't deserve it just because the other finalist hurt people's feelings because of his/her strategy in the game. It's a fucking game, dammit. You don't play Grand Theft Auto and promise not to shoot or steal cars because you don't want to hurt anyone, right? My analogy might not apply or work for you, but I hope you get my point. It's a GAME.
