Our internet cafe will be opening this Saturday, March 6th. I've just finished setting up everything and tomorrow, we'll be testing if the rental rates setup on our cafe timer and network gaming will all work smoothly.
While Mai and I were shopping for candies and snacks we'll sell here at our internet cafe, we were talking about our plans of adding more computers to our 10. She recalled what they were doing in her previous job in a call center. She was a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for an IT company in the US and they have an online store. She mentioned that they were offering discounts to customers by giving them coupons that they can use if they purchase online at that very moment they're on the phone with a CSR. However, they have to ask for approval first from their supervisors before they can process the discounts for the customers.
Mai said that a lot of customers get huge discounts on computers because of coupons they give out. I wish the most popular and trusted computer manufacturers would offer them for Filipinos, too. I heard that people from the US can get HP coupons or Dell online coupons and save a lot from their computer purchases. If we had that available to us, Mai and I would also purchase a new computer for her because the one she's using is our server computer at our internet cafe. She doesn't like using a laptop so we'd need a new desktop for her so that when we're not at our cafe, she'd still have a computer to use.
Going back to our internet cafe business, I hope we'll be more successful here than when we were in Cebu. I'd love to add more computers to our internet cafe very soon. A lot of people have been asking already and are awaiting our "grand" opening day tomorrow. I'll post photos from our opening day next. Wish us luck!

I've also a net cafe here in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan with 18 units including server and it's very near at the Palawan State University so I got a lot of customers every day...di nga ma-accommodate lahat sa dami. We can't add more units dahil sagad na ung space. About computers and computer parts try PC Options at Gilmore Avenue, QC just in front of Gilmore IT Center...mura sa kanila kesa Greenhills. Sa harap lang ng St Paul University yang Gilmore IT Center an 8-peso ride from Cubao if you take a jitney.

ReplyDeleteResidential area kami and we can extend our shop if we wanted to 'coz malaki pa naman yung space. Pero kakastart lang so we're not yet sure kung magiging malakas ba talaga kami d2 or what. Buti pa kayo. I wish you luck na makapag-extend pa kayo. :)
