Charice on Glee Season 2 Premiere

Have you seen the season premiere of Glee Season 2?!? I haven't, but, as soon as I was done with lunch, I immediately looked for a video of Charice appearances in Glee. And, I found this:

The hair on my arms and at the back of my neck raised as soon as I heard Charice sing the first lines of Lady Gaga's Telephone. Actually, the entire video, I was getting goosebumps! That's how amazing Charice is to me and how proud of her I am. Woohoo!

I'm glad she was introduced as a foreign exchange student from the Philippines. At first, I thought Sunshine Corazon, Charice's character, will be introduced as someone of different nationality. Glad she's introduced as a Filipino. Woohoo! Really proud day for Pinoys.

I was checking the comments section in Youtube and I found some Pinoys who were offended by the last part where (SPOILER ALERT!) Charice said she's going with Vocal Adrenaline 'cause she was offered a condo and her mom a green card. I mean, c'mon. I didn't find it offensive. She's a foreigner. It has nothing to do with her being a Filipino. I would take anything like that being offered to me if I was in her shoes. I sure would love to get my family over with me in the US through any kind of LEGAL assistance.

Us Filipinos can really be TOO SENSITIVE. These Pinoys took the line WAY TOO seriously. It applies for ALL foreigners. Wouldn't you do the same if you were in her shoes? Anyway, she would still be able to sing her heart out over at Vocal Adrenaline. So, why not take the offer, right? Sheesh.

Let's not put too much negativity over Charice being on Glee. This is actually what I'm afraid will happen. Pinoys getting offended WAY TOO MUCH over the other characters teasing Sunshine Corazon, or her lines as a foreign student. Let's just be proud of her and stop all this nonsense. CHARICE is on GLEE. What else should you even think negatively about?!

I'm looking forward to watching the whole episode today. My download is still at 60%. Hehehe.
