My Brother's Officially a Blogger & His Weight Loss Journey

I literally asked my brother for permission to post photos of him here. He doesn't want to show anyone latest photos of him 'cause of the weight he's gained since last year. This is his story.

I have written before about my brother Kenneth (Kien of Certified Foodies) when he passed the Nursing Licensure Exam last year. Studying for NLE was so stressful that he started to gain weight while he was preparing for it.

He spent months studying, staying 'til the wee hours of the morning to review everything he's learned in school and working through review tools he was able to acquire. I can't imagine how stressful it was for him, but, during those months, he turned to food for comfort. And, he's been struggling to lose the weight ever since.

This year, just like me, he wants to start taking losing weight seriously. So, he came up with an idea – to document his progress through a blog about his weight loss. We already registered a domain for him, but, I haven't worked on the design yet. So, for now, he's writing his blogs offline.

He'll be writing about what he's doing to lose weight – the ups and downs. He'll also talk about anything he'll try (appetite suppresants such as hoodia diet pills, etc.) and which ones worked for him.

I'm sharing with you his before and after the weight gain photos just so you'd see how much he'd gained. I hope that we'll be both successful in losing weight before 2011.
