I've seen a couple of my fellow bloggers writing their own Christmas wish list so I decided to come up with my own. It's a wish list so there are no rules, right? Here we go…
#11: A Flickr Pro Account
(Just added this. I only was supposed to have 10 items listed here but I remembered I also want this on my list)
I need a Flickr Pro account because I'm using Flickr now for all of my Wordpress blogs so the images won't take much space on my hosting. If you're not yet doing that on your Wordpress blogs, oh gosh. You should! Though I have unlimited hosting, I still want to keep my posted photos in one place so I won't worry about disk space if in case I needed to move again to a new hosting.
I've already exceeded the limits of my free account with Flickr so I really need to upgrade soon. One-year Pro account is only $24.95. I know, that may be a little expensive for some people, but since I'll be using it for my 6 blogs, I guess it's all worth it. But, I'm still taking this for serious consideration 'cause I can still use PhotoBucket for my other images. Anyway, we'll see. But, I really want a Flickr Pro account. :)
#10: Maintain my PR4 (Forever)!
I'm so happy to find out the other day that Just Another Pixel is a PR4 blog again! Woot! Good thing I wasn't able to take care of the migration to Wordpress in the past week. I initially wanted to move 'cause I already lost my PR so I thought it's about time to move this blog to WP. But, I'm still moving this blog to WP. Just need a different strategy in moving now.
I know, some may find it ridiculous that keeping my PR4 is on my wish list. Losing my PR did affect me 'cause I did work hard to get it. I'm just glad that problem didn't cause any issues with my blog contest Thirty on 30 because almost all of my sponsors continued to support me. Thank you so much for the help! I know, I still owe my primary sponsors site/blog reviews. I've already written most of them, but I haven't published yet 'cause I really thought I was going to move to WP. Since I'm going to delay that, I'd be able to complete the reviews.
#9: General Cleaning of my Room.
Yes, my room's a freaking mess! I've posted a couple of photos of the mess here, but let me just remind you:

The new computers are no longer here since I've already set them up. The old computers are now in my parents' old room. But, my room is still a mess because of all the boxes that are still here. I seriously need to move them somewhere else. We're running out of space for all of them! *LOL*
I'm not a hoarder, okay? I just need these boxes for warranty purposes. I'll throw them in the trash after a year. Or at least 'til my mother can take seeing them scattered everywhere. *LOL*
Once I've cleared all these boxes, I need someone to clean my room for me! I couldn't really do it because I have to man our computer shop, and I'm allergic to dust. Excuses, excuses. *LOL* But, seriously, I can't find the time to do it. So, I'm hoping that I can get my room cleaned before Christmas. I don't want to go on our vacation with my room looking like this.
I've already changed the window covers. All the anime posters and stickers are gone and are in the trash now. It's still red and blank for now. It's now one of my projects - to fill up that whole red space on my windows with photos, especially from our upcoming trip to Northern Luzon. I'll post photos once I finish this "art project".
#8: Another laptop!
I don't want to say a NEW laptop. Corveena might get jealous and act up on me. *LOL* The reason why I want a new laptop is so I can hand Corveena over to my mother. I want to really teach her how to use the computer and browse the web. We already started our typing lessons like months ago. She couldn't take it seriously though 'cause I was too strict. I told her, I was just emulating her when she used to tutor me when I was younger. Hahahah. But, there was some improvement. I bet, though, that she already forgot everything I taught her.
Anyway, I need ANOTHER laptop (hah!) that's a li'l lighter than Corveena so I can carry it around more easily. But I'm pretty happy with this laptop so this isn't really one of my priorities. I might just end up buying my mother a cheap laptop for her needs.
#7: New oven!
Since I've started cooking again, I want a new oven. Well, actually, our oven is still working. I want a smaller oven to replace our old one that's been with us since, I don't know, like forever. It's still working after all those years. But, the dials don't work anymore. I want a separate baking oven that's electric so I won't worry about cooking or baking anything on our other oven that uses gas. I'm a li'l scared that it's going to blow up or something. Hahahaha.
I really want to start baking. I'm a huge pastry addict so it's something I really want to delve into. I've got recipes already lined up so I really wish I could get a new oven ASAP! Any recommendations?
#6: New refrigerator!
Of course! Along with a new oven, I want a new refrigerator! I'm going to really save up for this. I want a ref that has this ice-making feature. That way, I could enjoy iced drinks anytime I want without having to smash ice myself. Sosyal! Hahaha.
I've actually posted about this on Certified Foodies. Here's how our ref looks like:

It's been with us for over a decade and it's still working.
Now, this is my DREAM refrigerator, Whirlpool ED5LHAXWB:

#5: New gadgets!
I NEED a new point-and-shoot camera. And, this is on top of my wish list: Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3.
But, I'm not sure if I can afford to buy it before January, especially with everything I've got lined up for Christmas 'til New Year. So, I might end up buying a Canon digital camera instead. Anyway, I'm now in love with my brother's Canon PowerShot SD1000. I love how Canon's macro feature/capability works. Plus, they're the next reliable digital camera maker I know.
Aside from a new camera, I also want a new phone. That's why I joined Sulit's contest. I'm not sure though if I'll win anything from that contest. But, if I do, I'd be gifted with a new iPhone 3GS. If not, then, I need to really save up for my new phone. I want to get an Android phone 'cause of all the raves and positive reviews I'm reading about them. I'm tired of Nokia. *LOL* I might end up with an HTC Desire HD Android phone or something that's within its price range. But, if I'm going for a Nokia phone, I want the N8! Woot!
#4: Reader's Digest Subscription
I've mentioned a few posts back that I want to go back to reading again. So, by January, I'll be subscribing to Reader's Digest. I'm actually thinking of giving away a year of Reader's Digest subscriptions, but I have no idea when I'll start that contest. Probably in late January.

#3: An elliptical exercise machine!
Because of my really hectic schedule online and offline, I am desperate in buying myself an elliptical exercise machine. I know I won't be able to afford it this month, but it's on my 2011 to-buy list. I really want to start exercising and lose weight the "normal" way.
I've already canvassed for the price of this machine and I'm pretty glad it's quite affordable. They cost around Php 5,000+.
#2: Better health for me and my family.
We're trying to eat healthy now. I'm glad everyone's cooperating. For the past 2 weeks, my mother only cooked a pork dish once. Over the weekend, we had Tinolang Manok, Chicken and Vegetable salad, Fish Sinigang (I forgot the name of the fish *LOL*). We're also tea drinkers now, except for my brother. And, I'm planning on a bi-yearly family checkup so we'd be updated as to how we're doing in terms of our health. Need to take care of our HMO first.
#1: Celebrate this Christmas with my family.
Of course, this is #1 on my list. I am so happy that I can truly celebrate Christmas with my family. I miss them so much. And I'm just glad I'm given another chance to make it up to them.
This 2010 until next year are full of thanksgiving celebrations for me and my family. I can never thank God enough for all the blessings we've received over the years, especially the strength He has given me and my family this year. I love my mother, my father and my brother. They mean the world to me! And I hope I'd be given more Christmas celebrations with them.
I tried to keep my wish list all material things, but I can't help it. I guess I'm pretty satisfied with all the blessings I've already received so these things I listed will just be like icing on my cake.
How about you? Have you posted your Christmas wish list? If you already did, leave the link below and I'll give you link love on this post. :)
