Preparing for our Northern Luzon Vacation!

In about two weeks, I will be heading to Northern Luzon for a four to five-day vacation. This is part of my bucket list (remember, bucket list #1) so I cannot wait! I'll be joined by my mother and her best friend, my brother and one of his friends, plus a very close family friend.

I know, I've mentioned about our trip like more than I should on this blog, but I'm just excited. It's been awhile since I enjoyed a vacation and travelling with my family. The last time we went on vacation together was like 6 years ago! So, I'm hoping you understand why I'm excited about this trip.

Another reason why I'm excited is because I've never been to Vigan, Pagudpud in Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur. This will be my first time so I already did my research. I've got a ton of things for our itinerary. Let me share with you some of them. If you have more recommendations, please, let me know! ^_^

Vigan, Ilocos Norte, Philippines - JustAnotherPixel.net

  • Vigan Longganisa - Everyone I know who's been to Vigan recommended that I have a taste of the longganisa. Hmmm… I wonder what's different that makes them all giddy about it.
  • Baluarte - The zoo owned by Chavit Singson. There's no fee in visiting this place and I love zoos so definitely, we're not going to miss it!
  • Padre Burgos Museum - I happen to love the part of our history about the GomBurZa. I mean, I love hearing about the stories and how they sacrificed their lives for us, which then resulted to the other events which led to our freedom from the Spaniards. Wow. I actually remember my Philippine history. Hahaha.
  • San Agustin Belfry - I want to see its magnificence myself. Waah!
  • Herencia Cafe - I'd like to dine here and try their Crispy Dinuguan and Pinakbet pizza! Woot!
  • Bagnet - Of course, we won't miss enjoying a meal or two with bagnet. Ack. So hungry now. *LOL*
  • Calle Crisologo - As I've mentioned before, I would love to have a photo of myself taken while walking these old streets. Woot!

Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte - JustAnotherPixel.net

  • Wind Mills in Bangui - We wouldn't miss seeing these giant wind mills! I wonder how windy it is out there.
  • Cape Bojeador Lighthouse - I want to climb up the lighthouse to see the view from the top. I'm not sure though if I'd have the energy to go all the way to the top. *LOL*
  • Patapat Viaduct - This is the famous highway in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. I just want to take photos here. *LOL*
  • Pagudpud Beach - Of course! We're planning on staying for one night here to bask in the sun and lovely beaches of Pagudpud, then party at night! I'm a li'l allergic to the combination of sea water and wind. So, surely, I'll be bringing some anti-allergy medicines PLUS sunscreen, of course! My allergies to sea water isn't really bad. I won't need anything like a treatment for eczema or anything that worse. My skin just gets too dry and itchy, even with lotion on. But, that won't stop me from enjoying my time at the beach! Woot!

Baguio City - JustAnotherPixel.net

  • Ukay-ukay - Okay, we've been to Baguio numerous times already, but we haven't gone to any of the ukay-ukay stores there. Well, I didn't have my own money the last time we were there so now, I really want to go back there 'cause I can shop all I want without having to ask for money from my nanay! *LOL*
  • Zenz Restaurant - We want to try the Strawberry Sinigang! Hahaha! They're at Mines View Hotel, by the way.
  • Oh My Gulay! - The famous vegetarian restaurant in Baguio. Waahh! I've been longing to go there like forever!
  • Market in Baguio - I want to buy broccoli and strawberries! I know, the latter is not yet in season there. But, I love the fresh strawberries in Baguio.

Okay, that's about it. I still have some things on my list, but this post is getting too long already. If you have recommendations, again, let me know at the comments section.
