As part of my game plans this year, particularly on my quest to lose weight and reach 150 lbs. by the end of 2011, I have decided to also enroll at a gym closest here. I've actually done it before, you know, going to the gym. After a few days of going and loving the effects on my body and stamina, I suddenly stopped. I guess I bore really easily.
This is one thing I need to work on. Some may call it ADD/attention deficit disorder (now ADHD), but I prefer to have fun while doing strenuous work. Like when I clean my room or wash dishes, I make sure music is on or I'm watching TV. ^_^
Anyway, there's this gym a tricycle ride away from our home. They opened a few months ago and have a number of members already. The place is maintained properly and they even have gym lockers for all their members. I've seen their gym already when I went there to check the place out.

What I love about this gym aside from its distance from my home is their friendly staff. I went there one Saturday morning when they had a lot of clients, but they still managed to accommodate me. I also found out that non-members are assigned a wood locker each after 5 visits. What's also awesome is the lockers of the members and non-members are in separate rooms. I'm very particular with the security of my belongings at the gym.
I'm still unsure if I'll take advantage of their membership since I'm not sure how often I'd be going to their gym. I got an update recently that they'll be having dance / hiphop exercise classes this year so I'll definitely would love to attend those. I miss dancing so much so I guess it'll really keep me going back to the gym and be more disciplined than before. For now, I just need to look for someone to help me with the shop. ^_^
