Just Another Pixel: How to Send Help to Sendong Affected Families

I know you all are aware of what happened in our fellow Filipinos in Iligan and Cagayan de Oro when typhoon Sendong hit their part of the country, causing massive flash floods that resulted to the death of over 1,000 people. It is truly heartbreaking and I sincerely pray for all the souls of the men, women, kids and even animals (our dogs were one of the first things we made sure were safe when typhoon Pedring flooded our area here in Malabon) who lost their lives because of this tragedy. And I can only hope and pray too for the families they left behind – I hope they stay strong and hopeful that they can survive this.

Help CDO and Iligan

It’s heartwarming to see a lot of our fellowmen who are willing to help in any way they can. It touches my heart to hear about stories of generosity and kindness to aid our kababayan in Iligan and CDO. May God bless them all.

Over the past few days, I’ve been collating links and information on how to send help to all the affected people by the flash floods brought about by typhoon Sendong in Mindanao, particularly in Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro. I hope this helps and I’ll try to update this as often as I can. Just in case, I decided to provide the links to the sites of the organizations helping out so you can get more updates or information from them directly.
