Wow. My post on my Heroes of Newerth beta key giveaway on my blog generated a lot of visits and comments.
Based on the comments, I can see that most of them didn't actually read my instructions (lol). A couple of them didn't even know that I'm FEMALE and kept on referring to me as "dude", "sir", "man", etc.
But there were a few of them with very interesting explanations as to why they want the beta key and what hero they would like to play.
Again, please read my instructions on that post.
I got another 8 from 3 people who sent me an email - Thanks to Jorge, Mike (2nd time) and Jake (thanks, kabayan!).
I might give those last keys to 5 more lucky people just because I enjoyed reading them and the rest, I'd just give out randomly on my blog *grin*.
So, the total count would be 35 if I decide to do that - 10 exclusively to blog subscribers, 10 on my blog, and 15 to people who posted 09n33tx2bgsng93 the most interesting comment.
I know the #s are limited but if you really want the beta key, it's worth taking a shot 'coz you might win it or some people might not see it before you do. LOL

ReplyDeleteI don’t really think I “deserve” a key, but I would like one as I have been a die hard DOTA player ever since it’s inception. I have been following HoN for a very long time now, but so far I have been unable to get into the beta program. If you can assist me, by helping me out with a key, then I would be greatly in your debt and forever appreciative :)

ReplyDeleteThe last few days I've been searching every little corner of the internet to get a hold of a beta- key for HoN. I know they did a massive giveaway on facebook, but I was too late to get a hold of one due to vacation and no access to a computer.
So, I've pretty much spent about 3 hours a day the last week searching for someone / a website who could provide beta- keys. I found some websites that acutally had keys left, but of course. I was too late. My desperation is reaching it's peak, since i start to realize that you might be my last hope. I pray that i'll be one of the lucky ones!
Anyway. I've been playing dota for many years, and i really enjoy the game. The game Warcraft 3 has existed since 2002, and it's honestly starting to get old. I've been longing for an update of Warcraft, or a completely new game to give new "life" into DotA. That's when Heroes of Newerth came. I got really excited, and aimed for trying the game on the beta test. But apparently I was too late.
If i do get a beta- key for it though, the first thing I'm going to do is to try the hero "Accursed", formerly "Lord of Avernus", one of my favorite heroes in Dota.

Yeah, Im really getting excited about this beta key giveaway xD! Ive been searching on the internet for any possible sign of obtaining one but i come across a wall of doom everytime.(F*CKING DOOM IS DOOMING MEH! xD jk ^^) Once i found your site I was like :O -> >:D as i read the HoN section xD.It was my last hope… Ive been a fan ever since it was on the internet however, I was unable to access a computer during the "main" beta key giveaways. I was dumb-founded when I found out I was too late. Ive been waitin for an upgrade to Dota for some time now and when i had a chance of playing the almighty HoN, I was too late :< *cries*. When I found about HoN I was like :O...... OMG! I was blinded when I first saw the video of HoN and I had to watch the video again to get a clearer view. (WAIT IS THAT PUDGE? OMFG!?!? I LOVE IT! YAAA...) *Screams like crazy* (LOL JK ^^)
I was immediately in love. Heres a list why HoN epicly pwns Dota and some usefull information ive gathered from searching various sites for hours for a beta key xD! Enjoy. ^^
------------Game-Info----------
#1-The graphics are incredibly slick and it feels like your playing using a top notch graphics card. Its like ur playing IRL! jk ;D
#2-The game engine is entirely beatifull... The engine gives physics to every aspect of the game, including the famous ragdoll affects and corpes exploding when u pwn em in teh face :P.
#3-The new interface and slick look gives it another edge agianst Dota. Totally new spell system,interface,shop system, and a by far all out incredibly new look brings the game even more closer to pwnage!It might look confusing but nothing but a couple of games might not fix xD!
#4-New leaver system that pwns all those pesky noobs that keep leaving 3 seconds in game. Yea its that good!
#5-Self updater, The game basically progresses as time progresses, this means new heros, items, etc.
#6-The gameplay is really porportional to Dota. Meaning, all heros are basically porportional to the heros from Dota. For example, Pudge's stats are very similar and porportional to the new pudge in HoN. This means you dont have to spend all your time just trying to get used to the gameplay of specific heros against other heros and how much damage they take against eachother etc... ^^
#7-Put #s 1-6 together and what do u get? Well u get a game that PWNS! YES, its like a GODLIKE! spree against Dota hehe :). Yes its that good, and yes im going to buy the game because its amazing!

It costs 30$ I believe whitch is awesome because its like an awesome game ^^ Ive watched the vids from Facebook and youtube a bazillion times and learned plenty form just trying to get ahold of a bet a key xD. I had zero chance of getting a key But! I found this site and im like YAY! So im really excited and I hope that I obtain a key! :)! I do love your blogs and the JustAnotherPixel site =D!I also like the blogs sent to my email however i always jump when i have something in my mail xD! I pray its a beta key!

My hero of choice is Pudge. He is a ideal hero for early ganks and a great hero againts other heros. Hook,rot,eat,dead...
Its fairly that simple. His spells prolly has the most beasty combos in the game so far ;P His spells and overall look is better in HoN however the damage of the spells have changed slighly because of the updates and porportional changes based upon the other heros and new items etc. He is an insane hero and if played right, can change the tide of winning and losing.

uhm I'm eugene.. and I've already tried playing Heroes of Newerth and its really cool.. I played using my friend's account not mine.. cuz I don't have one yet cuz I'm still waiting for a new beta key to have an account..
anyway.. Newerth is really cool.. I tried using pestilence(slardar in DOTA) and its kinda better hero than in the old one.. anyway.. one thing that makes the game imbalance "imba" as we say in cebu is that the game has no "Orb effects" so a hero gets stronger and stronger.. even if its abilities shouldn't be that much or should be incapable of doing it.. hehe! :D anyway its a new thing on this game. and its nice to have some old things new.. hehe!!

Hey i´m Jaime i been loking for beta keys everywere today i got a mail fron here with 10 beta keys the mail was sent at 7:55 am and i open it at 9:55 i did not geton time for a beta key when i saw it i was so excited but then i tried the keys and they were all used but thats okay ill keep waiting
