My Pet Society Addiction

Aside from the Facebook game Cafe World that I used to get so addicted to, Pet Society is another Facebook app that's still on my addiction list.

I can give you a hundred reasons why I love Pet Society (okay, I'm just exaggerating, I can only give you maybe 10 hehehe) but let me mention the ones on the top of my list:

• I love the graphics! The items (furniture, clothes, everything!) and the pets are too cute for words!
  It does take a bit longer for Pet Society to load. However, after the game has fully loaded, you won't have to worry about slow loading or connections when you visit your friends' pets or the shops, unlike with Zynga games.
  
  
• I love that twice a week, I can get new items for my pet - new Mysterious Items before the weekends (usually Friday or Saturday) and new shop items on Mondays.
  I always make sure I have earned enough coins before Monday comes so I'd have money to buy the latest items in the shops and still have enough for Expensive Mystery boxes (Gold Mystery Boxes or GMBs).
  
  
• I love Pet Society's gameplay. I know, it's not as competitive as other Facebook games but it's not as complicated either. You can just relax and play with your pet without worrying about scores, competition (I've been playing too many competitive games already) and your food spoiling or your harvests wasting away (although if you leave your veggies for a long time, some of them will rot but it's not the main point of the game).
  
  The in-game Pet Society race at the Stadium doesn't really count as competition since your friends aren't really online to race against you. So, it's still a very fun and relaxing game for me.
  
  

My partner and I used to have a GMB day weekly where we open GMBs in hopes of getting the new Mystery Items. Now, we're quite busy to be visiting all our friends' pets so we seldom open GMBs. But, I kept a list of the MIs (mystery items) that we haven't gotten yet so I can just check them off when we feel like opening GMBs again.

Meet my pet, Elvira.

She can be a brat at times but is very caring.

She loves fashion and always makes sure she has the hottest items from the Pet Society shops weekly.

She's married to Moimoi, my partner Mai's pet in Pet Society.

Sorry if I sound kinda crazy. Just play along, aight? Anyway, you must be a Pet Society addict, too, if you're still reading this post so I know you'd understand. Hehehe.

On the left, that's her with my dream doll in Pet Society - Pink Jell-o. I love it 'coz it looks like the Angeling monster in Ragnarok Online. LOLz

On the right, I took a photo when I received a quite rude but funny (can't believe I used those 2 words in 1 sentence) gift - an egg thrown at her face. Hehehe.

 

 

This photo was taken when my partner and I were still starting in Pet Society. Elvira was still orange back then.

First on our wishlist was to complete Mai's pet's kitchen. I was so happy with the result of all that hard work of earning Pet Society coins back then.

Now that we're earning Pet Society coins easily (my guide is up next), we no longer have kitchens in our pet's homes. We're now item collectors so everything's messy hehe.

 

This is my first room's design as of this writing. It's a ballroom-themed design. I love it!
