Anyway, before you proceed with my list of tips and guide on Pet Society, here are a few terms that you need to be familiar with because I'll be using them throughout this post:
999s - Items in Pet Society that can be sold for 999 coins. Most of them can be found in Mystery boxes.
- 4999s - Items in Pet Soc that can be sold for 4999 coins. These are the items sold at the shops that are worth 15,000 coins - Princess Bed and Red Bubble Chair at the Luxury shop.
- GMB - Gold Mystery Box - another term for Expensive Mystery box found at the Mystery Shop.
- BMB - Blue Mystery Box - another term for the Mystery Box found at the Mystery Shop.
- MIs - Mystery Items - You'd get them from GMBs and BMBs.
Tips on Earning Paw Points in Pet Society
For your pet to level up, you need to earn paw points. And there are a lot of ways you can earn paw points in Pet Society. Here are a few of them and some tips to earn more:
- Visit your Friends daily.
Try to visit all your friends daily. You get 5 Paw Points per visit.
- Feed, Wash and Groom your pets and your friends' pets.
Make sure your pet is fed, washed and groomed well. Every one of these actions would award you certain # of Paw Points, depending on how hungry, dirty and unhappy they were.
Also, when you visit your friends' pets and you see that they're hungry, dirty or unhappy, go ahead and take care of that for your friend. This would also earn you Paw points and coins.
If you're worried that your friend might be leaving their pets dirty to make them rainbow or gold poo, don't worry. Their pets would stay as dirty, hungry or unhappy as they left them.
- Plant and Grow Vegetables in your Garden.
This is one of the easiest way you can earn Paw Points. Some might not know that you also earn Paw points for planting but you do. So, if you want to level up faster, I suggest you stick with planting and growing Vegetables only in your 2 Gardens. This way, you can earn points faster.
Here are the corresponding Paw Points you'd get for each Vegetable size you harvest:
- Gigantic vegetable - 9 days - 50 Paw Points
- Very Large - 8 days - 30 paw points
- Large - 7 days - 25 paw points
- Above Average - 6 days - 20 paw points
- Average - 5 days - 15 paw points
- Below Average - 4 days - 10 paw points
- Small - 3 days - 6 paw points
- Very Small - 2 days - 2 paw points
- Tiny - 1 day - 2 paw points
- Rotten - 1 paw point
- Gigantic vegetable - 9 days - 50 Paw Points
- Play with your Pet.
You can throw the ball or frisbee and play jump rope with your pet to earn paw points. The # of points you get will depend on how many jumps or passes you were able to do with your pet. You can do this over and over again and if you want to get higher points, you need to beat your last best score.
- Send Gifts to your Friends.
Sending gifts to friends is rewarding. You get Paw points for each gift you send. The more expensive the gift is, the more paw points you get.
TIP: We usually do this when we're a few Paw points away from leveling up - you can actually ask a friend you trust to send you expensive items and you'd send them back to them. Do this repeatedly 'til you get the right amount of paw points you need to level up.
- Shop Away!
You also earn Paw Points whenever you buy items in the Pet Society shops.
No points are awarded when you sell items, though.
- It's always good to Recycle.
Whenever you recycle items (duplicates, unnecessary or items that you don't like), you also earn Paw Points. The amount of points you get would again depend on how expensive or valuable the item is.
- Race against your friends at the Stadium.
You also earn Paw points for racing at the Stadium. You can do this 10 times a day so use it all up!
Check out the list of requirements and upgrades you get for each level.
Tips on Earning More Coins in Pet Society
- Play everyday as much as possible.
Why? Because this increases your chances of winning the maximum Lottery prize of 2,000 coins.
As you can see, if you logged in 5+ days straight, the bar on the right would fill up and you'd get the chance to win the 2,000 coins.
- Visit your friends and take care of them, too.
Yes, this will also help you earn coins, not just Paw points. So, visit, hug, feed, brush and wash your pets' friends for more Pet Society coins!
TIP: Visit your ACTIVE friends first. Click on the ACTIVE tab on your Friends' list in Pet Society.
You earn 30 coins each for the first 50 Active pets you visit.
After this, the amount of coins you'd receive would decrease to 20 coins to 10 coins each.
I usually stop when I'm only getting 10 coins. I've got too many friends with Pet Soc accounts so visiting all of them can be really tiring.
- Race or Bet at the Stadium.
If you win the race, you get 30 coins. You can race up to 10 times per day.
Also, when you bet on a pet and they win, you earn twice the amount you bet. For instance, if you bet 10 coins, you'd win 20.
- Earn Trophies.
Whenever you receive a trophy, you also earn coins.
- Gold trophies - 150 coins
- Silver trophies - 100 coins
- Bronze trophies - 50 coins
To know how you can get more trophies, click on the Green Book icon on the left side of your Pet Society screen, just below the coins, as shown below.
- Bump trees in Pet Society.
Go out of your pet's house and bump all the trees that you see. Most of them would give you coins. If there's a special theme (like Christmas or Halloween), you might even get treats from bumping those trees.
That's my pet, Elvira, outside her home. See the trees surrounding her house? You can bump those to get coins.
- Plant and sell vegetables, flowers or fruits in your garden.
This is my biggest money earner. As much as possible, wait for your veggies to grow to Gigantic size - that's 9 days - to maximize the amount of money you'd get from selling them. Plus, you also get 50 Paw points per Gigantic veggie.
I don't recommend planting trees because they seldom bear fruit. But, if you want to plant trees, keep the ones whose fruits sell for 85 coins each like Chestnut and Strawberry Shortcake trees.
- Buy and Sell items for GMBs to get Mystery Items or 999s.
If you're already earning a steady stream of coins in Pet Society, you can buy GMBs worth 500 coins from the Mystery shop so you can get 999 items. For more profit, you can also try buying BMBs since they sell at 200 coins only but the chances of getting 999 items is also slim.
- Trade your Items in Pet Society Trading forums.
If you have duplicates or rare items that you got from GMBs, you can sell them or trade them at the official Pet Society trading forums. Be very cautious, though, before you trade with someone. Ask if they can send the items first. Take note that we can't send coins so you would have to pay or receive payments in 999s or 4999s.
Remember to check the Safe Traders List and the Scammers list to make sure that you're dealing with a trustworthy Pet Society player. If they're not on the Safe Traders list, ask them nicely if they can send the items first.
Also, remember to check the profile of the person you're trading with because there might be VMs or Visitor Messages left on their profile from people they've scammed or fooled before.
So far, those are the tips that I can share with you so you can earn more coins and paw points in Pet Society. If I come up with more, I'd update this post.
