I just handed out the design for the final part of the construction of our new internet cafe here at our house. If you've been following (and reading, of course) my blog, you'd know that we decided to set up our internet cafe here in Manila. We moved all the computers from Cebu, which cost us about Php 10,000, including the expenses for the crate, boxes, etc.
The computer tables are almost done. Next, and the final part, is our counter. Everything looks good. I'm pretty excited about how the counter would turn out 'coz I designed it to fit the remaining space but still look cozy for us to stay in.
Next week, Mai and I would be setting up the computers, network and the server. I'll be taking care of the software and networking part of it all, Mai's responsible for the cabling/hardware. What a tandem, right? Hehehe. She gets to do the dirty work while I sit in front of the computers to set them all up.
I'm hoping that our new internet cafe would be much more successful than the one in Cebu. I hope our digital photo printing service would be a hit so we won't have to worry about expenses anymore, and we'll have the money to add more computers... well, that is if our space would allow it. I wonder what we can do to add more computers here. Hmmm... the space is too limited. We only got to fit 10 client computers and the counter.
I'll post photos of our new internet cafe once construction's complete. I want to see everything painted first, with the gate and glass door, so it'll look cozy. Right now, I can't stay out there 'coz of all the dust. I've been sneezing for the past hour because of my allergy to dust, especially wood dust and scrapings.
*ACHOOOO*
Need to take my meds first. Photos maybe next week.
Good luck :)
