I already claimed the Nokia 5230 phone I won from DJ Mo Twister's giveaway on his blog and Twitter @djmotwister. Here it is:
Mai accompanied me to Magic 89.9's station at Paragon Plaza last week. We actually had to come back because the first day we were there, there was no stock available. I called them up the next day before we went back to ensure I can already claim my prize.
This Nokia 5230 phone is pretty slick. The only thing that I can complain about it is it doesn't have WiFi capabilities. But, that's about it. I usually use my mobile phone for texting, calling, writing to-do or to-buy lists, and taking photos. Now that we have an internet cafe, I also use this phone to receive photos from customers through Bluetooth for printing afterwards. So, it's been very useful to me. I love it 'coz I got it for free! It's my first time to win prizes like this. Woot!
And I won the phone a few days after my n76, which I had for 2+ years, gave up on me. I felt so lucky that day. Thanks to DJ Mo Twister!
Anyway, he's still giving away amazing prizes, and this time, they're from Tradeport. For the past 2 days, the prizes for his Trivia Questions of the day, were Canon EOS 1000D DSLR cameras. No winners have been announced yet. Not sure if I'm still allowed to join, but, I'll still continue answering. I want a DSLR!!
So, if you want to join, head on to DJ Mo Twister's blog and follow him on Twitter @djmotwister.
Congrats! That's really one cool phone. And what makes it cooler is that you got it for free.. congrats again!

ReplyDeleteI have a problem,When I get a new message, it doesn't ring or anything and it doesn't show up on the home screen either! I have to go in my in-box every 5 minutes to check for messages,How can I fix this? Thanks
ReplyDeleteThe Nokia 5230 Nuron's design is a familiar one, taking after the Nokia 5800 Xpress Music and Navigation Edition models. The white-and-silver chassis refreshes the look a bit, but the Nuron keeps the same candy bar shape and dimensions (4.37 inches tall by 2.03 inches wide by 0.61 inch thick) as the 5800s' do. At 3.98 ounces it is just a hair heavier than the other 5800.
ReplyDeleteI have Nokia 5230 and it doesn't come with a USB lead in the box. My laptop doesn't have blue-tooth so i need to get one for it.Which one do i need to get that is definitely compatible and where can i buy one that is also quite cheap?
