I started this blog in 2008, but it's only this year that I started focusing on increasing traffic or gaining more visitors to my blog. I really want to get to know more bloggers and really be active in the blogosphere. I've been a silent follower and reader of a lot of bloggers and I've decided that this year, I don't want to be "silenced" anymore. I mean, I really have to be more active and let the bloggers know that I love their blog!

I've got a couple of backlinks to my blog. Most of them are from sites and bloggers who are linking to my tutorials. Some, I've met in over a year of blogging. I'm still working on my blogroll because I wanted to make it somewhat special for those whose links would appear there, that's why it's not yet up on here. Basta, I really want to gain more backlinks from bloggers who actually read and comment on my blog. And I want to exchange links with bloggers whose posts I also read and even subscribe to.

This month, I started my first ever blog contest. I got a great deal of support from generous sponsors for my Make a Wish blog contest. Through this contest, I was able to get to know more people and hopefully, once more entries come in, I'll know more of those bloggers I visit through Adgitize and Entrecard.

I found out about BC bloggers last week and I wanted to join them, but signups were already closed. Then, today, upon browsing through my favorite blogs, I found out Paula of Mommy Diary is opening BC Bloggers 3 for those who are interested in gaining more link love from fellow bloggers. So, I am joining!

All you have to do is post about it to invite more bloggers, and to post the BC Bloggers' 125x125 banner on your blog. Then, you can fill up the form. I hope I can get to know more bloggers this way, too. I love reading other people's experiences because I find it inspiring, mostly. :)
