No, I didn't mean space like in my relationship. I mean, I need more hard disk space.
My laptop Corveena (read this post to get to know her) has a hard disk drive capacity of 250 gigabytes. For some people, that may be enough, but, for me, it's not. I need more disk space!
I partitioned my HDD into 3 drives. Now, all of them have less than 2 gigabytes of free space! And I don't even have music on here!
Here's a screenshot of one of my folders that contains photos. That's 14+ gigabytes. And that's just one folder. Not all of the images are even of high resolution.
I've got 11,117 images in that folder alone. At least, I have them organized, as you can see – 322 folders. LOLz. And I only got my laptop last year and started with my hobby of taking photos a few months ago. And since I'm planning on learning more and self-training myself more on photography (that's bucket list entry #3), plus, we're saving up for a DSLR (hopefully, by next year, I'll get my hands on one na!), I will need more disk space!
That's my Sony Cybershot DSC-T2 digital camera (no, I'm not going to name it). Pardon the photo as I only used my cellphone to take it just for this post. Anyway, it has 4GB of internal memory and I am only using a 2 GB SD card. I don't want to buy a higher capacity memory card for now, but, once we buy that DSLR, I know I want at least 8GB so I won't have to worry about deleting photos immediately from the memory card.
I am hoping to buy a terabyte external USB HDD soon because I've got photos and downloads I want to keep and never delete. And, I'd need it for backups, y'know.
How much is the capacity of your laptop
or desktop computer's hard disk drive?
How much free space do you still have at the moment?
Let me know at the comment section. Thank you and have a great week, everyone! :)
