As soon as I found out about the Nuffamily Day by Nuffnang, ideas of what I wanted to do for my post started flowing in. After much deliberation (with myself mostly ^_^), I decided to tell the truth and stay true to my writing style while crossing my fingers hoping I'd get picked. This is for you, my loves! ^_^

Let's cut to the chase...

WHY DO I LOVE NUFFNANG?

Citing a quote from one of my all-time favorite movies, Forrest Gump, being a Nuffnanger is "...like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." And if you are a Nuffnanger, too, you know EXACTLY what I mean. Nuffnang is FULL of surprises!

 

•   The Ads! The Colorful, Flashy, Animated Nuffnang Ads!
  
  Whenever I see a new ad from Nuffnang on any of my blogs, I get this feeling reminiscent of opening gifts on Christmas Day. I'm not kidding! Seeing those colorful, flashy and mostly animated Nuffnang ads has some kind of hypnotic effect on me. There was even one time that I literally stared at the new Nuffnang ad on this blog's sidebar and sighed. I'm weird like that! *LOL*
  
  But, go ask any Nuffnanger. I think most would agree with me that seeing Nuffnang ads on your blog can get you in a good mood. ^_^

 

•  Higher earning potential because of local companies' ads.
  
  I know that for almost all Nuffnangers, the majority of visits they get are from Pinoys, too. So, the chances of those visitors getting hyped up about the Nuffnang ads from local companies are higher, which can convert to more earnings for you!
  
  Plus, with their launch of Churp Churp, you are given more ways of making money online through social media.

 

• Hassle-Free Ad Widget Implementation/Placement
  
  It's like plug-and-play. Simply paste the code wherever you want your Nuffnang ads to appear. Just be patient and wait for ads or campaigns to come to you. :)

 

• Exciting Promos / Contests Exclusively for Nuffnangers
  
  Nuffnang holds the most interesting contests for bloggers. Most of them test members' creativity in writing or composing contest entries, which is something I truly appreciate.
  
  Plus, the prizes in their contests are just as exciting. Latest contest prizes up for grabs were an Apple iPad 2 and a 3D2N stay in Boracay! Now, who wouldn't want to join those contests?!
  
  With the growing number of advertisers joining forces with Nuffnang, I'm sure there'll be more unique and exciting contests coming soon!

• Fun Events for Nuffnangers!
  
  Nuffnang, with the help of advertisers in their network, has hosted blogger events for their members ranging from movie screenings, free tickets to watch Manny Pacquiao's fights live, mommy blogger events, to one-of-a-kind blogger parties. The very first event I attended as a Nuffnanger was the Glutamax The New Me contest. I only got consolation prize, but the culminating event and what happened after that was the most memorable about the whole thing. I got to know fellow bloggers and developed new friendships, and it was interesting reading all those entries, especially of the winners whose stories truly inspired me.
  
  That's why I always look forward to joining more Nuffnang events soon, including, of course, this Nuffamily Day on the 28th!

 

• Nuffnang is a COMMUNITY!
  
  Yes, it is. The warmth accommodation of the Nuffnang staff and the fun I had with some of the Nuffnangers I met at the first Nuffnang event and at the other blogger parties I joined are enough proofs that I'm truly a part of a community. :)
  

I'm proud to be a NUFFNANGER! If you're not a Nuffnanger yet, you're missing A LOT, including a chance to join Nuffamily Day on May 28!

 

 

My Family...

For some people, when you say "family", they'd immediately think about their parents and their siblings. Some may even include their relatives. But, since I belong to a small family of four, I've always considered my closest friends as my family, too. Yes, I put a premium on my genuine friendships with people. :)

Thus, for Nuffamily Day, I'm hoping for these people to join me. They are all very dear to my heart. :)

My Blood Family: My nanay, tatay and my bro Kenneth. 
I can never express how much I love this trio. They've been very supportive of me, including my blogging, especially my nanay when my bro and I started our food blog. She now prefers to discover new restaurants whenever we go out so we can feature them on Certified Foodies. How cool is that?! Stage nanay!

My tatay will be celebrating his birthday tomorrow, Sunday. If the three of them can join me on Nuffamily Day, it'd be so awesome as it'll be a celebration of Tatay's birthday, no matter how late, under those lanterns. It'll be a truly unique experience for him, my nanay and my bro! I NEED them with me on Nuffamily Day!

My Barkadang Tunay: Jasmin, Tina, Mina and Sheryl

They've been my best friends since high school, except for Tina who I've known for TWO DECADES! I love them with all my heart. And they've been quite intrigued as to why I enjoy blogging and all these activities/events I join. Well, I want them to see for themselves so I want them there with me on Nuffamily Day!

 

My Awesome Blogger Friends: Eihdra, Ruth, Joy, Divine and Ning

I may have just known them this year, but the bond of our friendship has developed up to this level where we truly miss each other and couldn't wait to hang out again. We've shared the craziest stories, laughed at the corniest jokes, listened to each others' worries, gossiped about almost everything, and simply enjoyed being together. Two of them, Joy and Eihdra, have already met my whole family, but I want to introduce Ruth, Divine and Ning to my parents, too, so they know who I always talk about. So, it'll be completely awesome if they'll be with me on Nuffamily Day!

Oohhh... I couldn't wait for Nuffamily Day! I sure hope I'd be one of the chosen few! I'll be bringing 12 of my loved ones who I consider my family. We don't have our own transportation so we'd be joining the others who'll be taking the NuffBus.
